Prior to joining Culture Stick in November 2008, Cindy worked for DeLaPorte and Associates, Inc., from 1998 - 2009.   She also worked for GenQuist, Inc. providing an award winning training program for the State of New Mexico. She was the Leadership and Management Trainer  at Sandia National Laboratories from 1990 - 1998.

Cindy earned a BS and an MBA in Management Information Systems from the College of Santa Fe in Albuquerque, NM.

During her time at Sandia National Laboratories, Cindy was the Project Leader for the Pre- Management Program that included both developing and training high-level staff members on the fast track for management. She was also the Project Leader for the New Manager Program that included developing, coordinating, and training newly promoted managers.  She was also the Program Manager for Office Administrative Assistants.

Cindy’s areas of expertise include: Leadership and Management; One on One Coaching; Consulting and Training; Program Management; Managing Diversity; Facilitation; Conflict Management;  Strategic Planning; Performance Management; Design and Development of Leadership Development Programs; and Administering Organizational and 360 Assessments.

She has trained over 350 Leadership/Management classes including Leading in Challenging Times, The Leader Manager, Social Styles, Customer Service, Supervisory Leadership Series, Developing Leadership Excellence, and Negotiating to Yes.  Additionally, Cindy has done extensive consulting and coaching of supervisors in several different companies at executive levels as well as first-line supervision to improve their supervisory skills and increase productivity.
